Atelier des Ors Bois Sikar Eau de Parfum 100ml is a richly textured smoky-tobacco unisex composition from the Grasse-based niche house Atelier des Ors. Composed in 2018 by perfumer Marie Salamagne, it evokes the smoky peaty character of an Islay single malt whisky — paired with the leather and tobacco of a fine cigar. Precious woods and nutmeg open it; a heart of styrax, guaiac wood and cedar leaves follows; a base of tobacco leaf and Java vetiver anchors the trail.

How to use

1. Spray onto clean, moisturised skin from around 15 cm away.
2. Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears.
3. Two sprays of an EDP is plenty; the tobacco-vetiver base projects strongly and lasts well into the next day.
4. For a longer scent trail, mist lightly onto a wool jacket, scarf or coat lining — natural fibres carry smoky-tobacco fragrances especially well.
