Molton Brown Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold Eau de Parfum 100ml is the British house's flagship oriental — a rich, spice-laden composition built around an Indian-inspired oud accord, gilded with vanilla, saffron and tobacco. Released as an eau de parfum in 2019 (following the 2015 eau de toilette), it opens on a glow of cardamom, black pepper, davana and bergamot, deepens into a heart of saffron, vanilla, rose and black tea, and settles on a smouldering base of agarwood, tobacco, honey, styrax and olibanum.

How to use

1. Spray onto clean, moisturised skin from around 15 cm away.
2. Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears, and the inner elbow.
3. Two sprays is generally plenty; the oud-saffron-tobacco base projects strongly and lingers all evening.
4. For a longer scent trail, mist lightly onto a scarf or jacket lining — natural fibres hold oriental fragrances especially well.
