Boucheron Serpent Bohème Eau de Parfum 4.5ml is the pocket-size travel companion to one of the Place Vendôme jeweller's most jewel-like fragrances. Composed by IFF perfumer Anne Flipo and launched in 2020, it's a chypre-floral built around two roses — Turkish damask rose and desert rose — woven with sambac jasmine, juicy mandarin and blackcurrant, and grounded in patchouli, labdanum, sandalwood and white musk.

About Boucheron

Boucheron is the French high-jewellery house founded in Paris in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, the first jeweller to open a maison on Place Vendôme. The Serpent Bohème jewellery line — a chain of pavé-set golden droplets — has been one of the brand's signature collections since 1968 and is now owned by Kering. The 2020 fragrance translates the soft, romantic spirit of those droplets into a perfume; the bottle, with its golden teardrop pendant, is a direct nod to the necklace.

How to wear it

Spray onto pulse points — wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat — from around 15 cm away. As an Eau de Parfum, expect moderate-to-strong projection in the first hour and a soft rose-and-musk skin scent for six to eight hours total. Avoid rubbing the wrists together, which dulls the rose top notes.
